Walking Iris. Prized for its graceful, sword-like foliage and delicate, orchid-like flowers. The creamy white blooms are beautifully marked with soft lavender-blue and golden accents, appearing atop slender stems just above the foliage.
Blooming primarily in spring, each flower lasts only a day but is quickly replaced, creating a steady succession of interest. The plant spreads slowly by producing new plantlets at the tips of spent flower stems, which gently arch and root—hence the name “walking” iris. Ideal for containers, and bright indoor spaces.
