Spider plants are the ultimate easy houseplant, but they are also fantastic in shady mixed planters or hanging baskets. They are even super in the ground, as a colourful foil to flowering begonias or impatiens. Ocean has 'reverse' variegation with white-edged leaves. Very showy.
